    Project Outline

    Tecala is a personal friend and a producer in the music industry. David and I met when he was making music for local rappers in college and soon after, I was making album artwork for the projects he had creative direction on. Since I started working with David he’s gained respect from the artists and producers in the area and has improved he’s skills even further at The Blackbird Academy for audio engineering.

    Music Marketing

    In addition to creating album artwork for Tecala, we also focused on creating a few graphics to help marketing his services.

    We created a new logo for him to use on his social media accounts and beat packs that were being sold. We also created a couple banner images with this new logo for Twitter, YouTube and Spotify so his profiles would look cohesive and complete on those platforms. Finally, we made a couple graphics to promote his recording sessions and mix packages.

    These graphics allowed Tecala to finish setting up his social profiles and release his first beat pack for sale.

    Project Outcome

    Each of Tecala’s projects has been well received by his fans and the album artwork has been appreciated by both fans and collaborating artists. Tecala has often told me that I’m one of the only people who can understand his abstract ideas and bring them to life in the way he envisioned. I admire Tecala’s dedication to making music and perfecting his craft and am happy to see how far he’s come with his skills. Currently he has finished his schooling at Blackbird Academy and is working for IPM mixing front of house for clubs around the DC area. He continues to mix and master for musicians as well.
