I began my web design and development journey with almost no education. I started out editing pre-made templates in photoshop which soon turned into editing existing templates within WordPress. After a year or so of learning the inner workings of a website, I began to create my own templates for our company using a single theme. I was able to create a structured set of templates for our team to use consistently and efficiently, allowing for an optimized and quicker workflow for the whole team.

Experience

My experience within web design and development covers almost every part of a website build, from the client onboarding, to building the backend structure and designing the front end pages that everyone will see. I’ve worked on multiple websites at a time by myself and am able to manage the full process with a team as well. During my 4 years at my first position, our company was able to triple in size and was able to increase the number of websites we worked at one time by 4 times thanks to the processes and templates I helped create.
