    Project Outline

Enso Tribe Promotions was founded by a group of friends in Richmond, VA with the goal to promote EDM artists and show at local venues. A close friend on the team asked me to help create the companies branding and promotional materials to help them start out. I gladly accepted as I admired the passion everyone in the group had for the music and environments they were promoting.

    Branding Design

The team wanted a logo that was sharp, professional, and symbolized a transformative experience. They chose to go with the Enso circle as part of the design since the symbol itself holds a great amount of meaning. For the rest of the logo, I went with a style that I felt would fit in with many of the club/bar logos that the company might interact with.

The sticker design was used to paste around the city and gain awareness during the first month of the teams promotion.

Posters, social graphics + promo cards.

    event promotion design

To help promote the Enso events, the team had me create a poster for their main events that could be used as a social media post, a poster or a promotional handout card.

The graphics were created using a combination of Adobe Dimensions (a 3D rendering software) and Adobe Photoshop. I found the 3D rendered graphics helped give these posters the attention grabbing “pop” I was looking for.

    Project Outcome

The designs, photos and branding created for Enso Tribe Promotions helped the group become an established and respected promotional company in the city. Within a few months, the team had already begun playing weekly shows at one of the local bars and hosted a larger event about once a month. For the larger events, the team would often have me take photos that were later used as social media posts or promotional material for individual artists.

The t-shirt that I designed and helped screen print allowed the team to have an extra source of revenue at their events as they sold these to their fans. Not only did this give the team an extra source of income, it also acted as another form of marketing – a walking piece of art with their logo.

The group ultimately decided to discontinue the promotion company after about a year of promoting and playing events across the city. While they are no longer promoting, they are still passionate about the scene and have continued to stay involved in their own ways. One of the members, KVN, has been signed to a group now and has been playing at shows around the country.
